Of note for Fall 2011 from the Tiny Ginger Showroom in New York: Hilda Yim's Siaomimi collection possesses a designer's modern aesthetic and a child's "out there" creativity. Two examples that embody her "graceful yet happy-go-lucky" Fall looks, are the Ninette dress ($32 wholesale) with playful ball-trim at the neckline, and the boy's narrow, Western-styled shirt with multicolored buttons ($25). Why shouldn't kids have fun while looking great? (Fits sizes 12 months to 8 years). To order, call Ginger Dhaliwal at the Tiny Ginger showroom 646-645-9773, or visit siaomimi.com.

Lynn Meyer of the Lynn Meyer Showroom in New York, reports brisk sales of the classic Ciao Marco boys' collection and the funky looks at MP Hats.

Plaids are hot for Fall 2011, and buyers are responding to Ciao Marco's cotton plaid button-down (fits 2 to size 20; $18-$19.50) with the contrasting neck facing and cuffs. They're teaming the shirt with the quarter-zip cotton sweater (fits 2 to 14 years; $23-$27 wholesale) for a pulled together yet casual look. (Both pieces are available in several colorways.)

Babes stay warm and look sweet in MP Hats' cotton stripe hat ($16 wholesale) lined in fleece and finished with two fun pom-poms. (Available in five different stripe combinations, the hat fits NB to 24 months.) Call 212-947-5522, or visit lynnmeyerinc.com.

French designers are having a moment at the EnekoNY Showroom, reports owner Pascale Adelson-Harent. Buyers are swooning for the raffish charm of the Le Vestiaire de Jeanne's (VDJ) Fall 2011 collection's loosely tailored wool and cotton Le Sweeper Dress ($120 wholesale) and the carry-with-everything Raw leather bag ($60-$120). Purchase the bag and $15 will be donated to the "La Liane," a French association that creates schools and shelters in Senegal.  For more information, call 646-662-5274, or visit enekony.com.

"Think Herve Leger for girls," says Nancy Markert of the Nancy Markert Showroom in New York, when describing the Bandage skirts ($18 wholesale) from Cruz Kids' Fall 2011 collection. Another hot item from Cruz Kids is the Social Butterfly skirt ($23, available for August delivery). The chic, sequined piece lends plenty of sparkle to a girl's winter wardrobe. (Both styles are available in several rich tones, and fits sizes 7 to 16 years.)

On the sportier side, Markert reports great sales from Pure Lime (previously Fast Forward Knits). The new name translates into a new attitude with edgier pieces such as the Sideways Cable Crop Sweater ($32 wholesale) in this season's hottest shadeplum. (Fits sizes 4-16 years.)

What to wear with such hip sportswear? Beautifully made Bloch Ballet Shoes. The Carina, shown in Pumice ($35 wholesale), works with everything in a girl's closet. (Fits sizes 25-36.) For more information, call 201-768-8334, or visit nancymarkert.com.

Another favorite of Moroze's buyers is the snug fit Esme flower patterned, lace trimmed two-piece top and capri ($21-$28) in super soft Modal cotton (Fits 2 to 14 years).  For more information, call 212-695-2300, or visit alismarket.com

Heather Rubino of the Teacup Tots showroom in Atlanta reports great buyer reaction to Mayoral, Spain-based, and Joules, London-based, sportswear manufacturers.

"What really captivates clients," says Rubino of the Mayoral line, "is that all prices include tax, U.S. currency conversion and shipping to the client's door. Boutiques are able to get European quality at less than U.S. prices." One example of the multi-piece line is this outfit from the Land to Sea group. The pieces, in a chocolate and ivory palette, exude elegance (fits sizes 1 to 8 years; $17.45-$18.30 wholesale).

Joules' extensive collection of apparel, outerwear, footwear and accessories for girls and boys is resonating with buyers for Fall 2011. Wearing Joules head-to-toe, the boy sports the Champion Polo ($27) over the Wright Long Sleeve Shirt ($22) in a layered take on athletic wear. Classic Ted Jeans ($29) and Striped Welly Boots finish the look ($26 wholesale). Available in girls' and boys' sizes 3T to 12 years. For more information, call Rubino at 617-755-6808, or visit teacuptots.com.

The wheels are turning at Red Wagon Baby where separates from the retro Seventies' Ivy & Olivia group are hot sellers, reports Caroline Nagle of the Yoka Showroom in New York. Two pieces that drive a disco beat: the Bell Sleeve Tunic with metallic gold stripes ($15 wholesale) worn atop the Shiny Leggings ($14). Somewhere, Donna Summer is giving a thumbs-up. (Fits 12 months to 13 years.) Call 212-594-7714, or visit yokashowroom.com.
