Posh Baby Launches Collection of Everyday Baby Essentials with Fashion Edge

(Portland, OR; March 1, 2004) Have you ever been shopping, diligently searching for that "perfect" pair of shoes but just can't find one with the right combination of style, practicality and comfort? Well, I've been there too and it's frustrating. Except, after the birth of my first child, the search for the perfect pair of shoes was replaced with the search for perfect baby essentials.

POSH BABY was created after the birth of my son Finn. After laborious searching for fashionable, comfortable essential baby products, I was not satisfied with anything the market had to offer. As a new mum, I longed for quality baby accessories that had style to fit my fashion sense, were practical enough for everyday usage, and met the comfort needs of my baby. I did not want to be walking around every day with a teddy-bear print burp cloth over my shoulder or change my baby on an uncomfortable plastic changing pad. My options were slim, so I created a collection of everyday baby essentials that met both my fashion sense and my baby's comfort needs. The Bum Rug was the first POSH BABY product, but the collection has grown to include bibs, blankets, burp cloths and even "scrubs" for babies.

The company will be celebrating its sixth month anniversary this month and already we've had an overwhelming response from various retailers and magazines. Celebrities have also taken notice of the hip items we have to offer. Gwyneth Paltrow and Courtney Cox-Arquette have both responded graciously about their POSH BABY items. Gwyneth Paltrow, a modern-day fashion icon, praises, "POSH BABY items as very adorable and beautiful," and Mrs. Cox-Arquette has kindly stated, "I love your style and can't wait to use them."

POSH BABY is based in Portland, Oregon, and I am proud to say that all my work is hand made locally. The collection focuses around style, comfort, functionality, and quality. It is a collection for mothers who are tired of cliché baby prints and products that lack quality and comfort.
