Berry
Jane's New Line of Scented Tee's Are
Scrumptious
(Grapevine TX; November 10,
2008) Hold on to your cupcakes these new tees are
going to blow you away. Ava Marie Carmichael, Fashion
Designer and CEO of Berry
Jane, has just
launched a new line of tees and tanks for girls that are
quickly becoming all the rage. The new line of
appliquéd tees and tanks feature scented motifs
such as: Cupcakes, Strawberries, Chocolate, Coffee,
Peanut Butter and Jelly and of course, Flowers. Each
motif is hand appliquéd, scented with its related
yummy fragrance and sewn onto 100% soft spun cotton tees
and tanks. The scents used are skin safe fragrance oils
and the motifs are created to retain their scent through
many washes. Ava recommends hand washing and hang drying
to retain the scent longer. In addition, Berry Jane
will also be creating a line of necklaces that feature
fabric pendants of playful strawberries, cupcakes and
various sweet, fragrant treats.
The Cute Factory, LLC is an
American fashion house founded by Ava Marie
Carmichael. The core brand, Berry
Jane (for girls 2T-6 years)
was created in 2006 and will soon be followed by their
luxury brand, The Queens Daughter (7-13 or "tween")
scheduled to launch Fall 2009. Berry Jane has been
described as the brand for little girls who "dress to
express"; while The Queen's Daughter is the "dress to
impress" line.
The Berry Jane line is truly
whimsical and multifaceted. Its fabrics offer various
textures and details without compromising function,
quality and comfort. It is full of little treasures and
surprises. In the pockets, you may find a little garden
gnome; and a scented cloth strawberry zipper pull may
hang from a hoodie jacket.
Each piece is created and sewn in
the USA using only the finest fabrics and trims. Artisans
from the USA, Ireland and London also individually
handcraft the appliqués found on many Berry Jane
garments.
History:
The Cute Factory, LLC was
officially established by Ava Marie Carmichael in the
Fall of 2008. The company name was inspired by Ava's love
of unbridled childhood imagination, fairy tale fiction
and fantasy. As a child, Ava was an avid lover of
children's books such as Cinderella, Charlie and the
Chocolate Factory, Alice and Wonderland and The Hobbit.
Even today as she works on her line, her creative
consultants are girls who's ages range anywhere
from 3 to 12. Taking to heart their advice and
reactions to certain pieces are what makes the Berry Jane
line so appealing to little girls. Already creating a
buzz in the children's market and with Hollywood celebs,
this is one line that possesses staying power.
