Meet Lynette Damir, Founder of
SwaddleDesigns
Lynette was inspired to create
stylish and functional products to help parents care for
their new babies. As a registered nurse and mother of
two, she understood the importance of babies feeling
secure as they travel from the womb to the world.
Lynette shopped for swaddling blankets and she was not
satisfied with what was available. Most new moms she
spoke to remembered how cozy their newborns looked in the
hospital but never could create the same swaddle wrap.
Lynette used her nursing background and her design
education at the Seattle Art Institute to design the
Ultimate Receiving Blanket. Lynette designs
SwaddleDesigns' exclusive prints and she selects every
component based on its color, quality and texture. Today,
Lynette offers new parents not only an award winning
Swaddling Blanket but also fashion forward baby
accessories, such as Baby Lovie™ and Baby
