(Brooklyn, NY; October 16,
2003) The Appaman Design Team is proud to announce
its fall/winter 03/04 line complete with one-pieces, long
and short sleeve t-shirts, leggings, hats, bibs and great
gift sets, perfect for newborns and toddlers.
After a great Spring launch with
placements in trendy baby stores in New York City,
Chicago and Detroit; garments featured by New York
Magazine's Rima Suqi, Earnshaw's and Children's Business,
Appaman is thrilled to be releasing their new and
expanded line of cool and colorful designs for Generation
Diaper.
Appaman Apparel was inspired by and
named after the childhood companion of founder and
designer Harald Husum. While growing up in Norway, Husum
befriended a corduroy ape named Appaman (Norwegian for
"monkey man"). Together they traveled the fields and
fjords of their native land, sharing many fantastic
adventures. Appaman Apparel reflects the whimsical spirit
of those youthful times and celebrates the unbreakable
bond between a boy and his ape.
Appaman's bright palate provides a
burst of color to the traditional world of pink and blue.
The fun, bold graphics offer a welcome antidote to the
mainstream images of baby wear. With cool designs and
original color combinations Appaman is the new choice for
parents looking to Keep It Real.
Appaman's fall/winter line features
ten unique designs in four styles and six sizes: Short
sleeve one-piece outfits (0-6, 6-12 mos.), long sleeve
shirts (12-18, 18-24 mos.), Lap t-shirts (12-18 mos.) and
t-shirts (2T and 4T). New this season are the matching
leggings for both boys and girls (sizes 0-6, 6-12, 12-18
mos.), hats for newborns and bibs for kids of all ages.
All available in the new Appaman Gift Box. (Retail
prices: One-piece designs $19.95; T-Shirt designs $18.95;
Long Sleeve T-Shirt $21.95; Gift Box $39.95.)
All of the designs are conceived and
created by Scandinavian designer, Harald Husum. All items
are soft, 100% cotton, dyed and printed in New York
City.
