 Tea Debuts 2004 Collections

(San Francisco; August 1, 2003) The Tea Collection is all about a beautiful color palette, sophisticated prints, soft pima cotton knits, and the touch of a global culture. So far, Emily Meyer, the designer, has found her inspiration in Asian art and textiles but is exploring Eastern Indian influences for the summer '04 collection. The collection is expanding by segmenting the collection into layette, spring and summer lines.

- The Layette Collection has a softer color palette without losing the uniquely "tea" prints. The knits are baby rib which gives the pieces an exceptional softness - perfect for baby.

- The Spring Collection includes new prints for the interlock styles. And, of course, Tea offers Pima Cotton sweaters in a fantastic selection of colors to coordinate with the knits.

- The Summer Collection introduces a new influence for Tea: Eastern Indian. The color palette is vibrant, the embroidery is exquisite, and the stripe is sophisticated.

According to Leigh Rawdon, founder, the company's toddler sweaters "were received extremely well for fall so we are expanding the toddler options for Spring 2004."
