Danish Children's Clothing Line Launches Wheat

(Annapolis, MD; March 4,
2011) The Wheat
children's line originated
in 2002 by Danish designer, Charlotte Galsgaard. With
distribution in over a dozen different countries, the
designer made her American debut last August with the
launch of Wheat USA.
Named one of the fastest growing
children's companies in Denmark, Wheat's quality and
attention to detail rise high above its competition. The
design team's inspirations are often pulled from vintage
Scandinavian wallpaper prints and thoughts of outdoor
life associated with the great Scandinavian forests. The
use of all natural fabrics and adjustable waistbands
ensure well-being and mobility all around for a happy,
energetic child.
The Fall/Winter 2011 core
collection offer icy blues, frozen whites and steel
grays, then as spring rolls in, the girl's line brightens
with small floral prints and soft pastels. Two
collections are offered each year with over 400 styles to
choose from each season.
The collection has been extremely
well received in European markets. With the opening of
the new US flagship store in Annapolis, MD in April 2011,
the line is quickly making Wheat a well known brand in
the US.
