See
Kai Run Continues to Expand Asian Market with New
Distributorship in China
(Seattle, WA; July 2009)
See
Kai Run®,
popular manufacturer of the perfect first shoe for new
walkers, is continuing to expand in Asia with a new
distributorship in China. Along with the recent addition
of its Korean distributor last winter, See Kai Run aims
to win over the Asian market with its unique take on
urban footwear for first steps - inspiring the kind of
enthusiasm for the brand that exists here at
home.
"The world continues to
shrink! Parents in China share the same feelings as
parents in the U.S. - they want healthy, comfortable,
high quality footwear for their children and they want a
chic, stylish alternative to what has been readily
available," says founder Cause Haun. "We are very
excited to see our shoes reach the Chinese market, soon
to be on children's feet in my husband's hometown of
Shanghai!"
Established in the 1970's, the
Korean-based parent company of See Kai Run's Chinese
distributorship, Hanmi Marketing Group, has had a loyal
following in China for over 10 years manufacturing
children's health and family care products. It is now
expanding into retail distribution of high-end children's
products and is poised to launch See Kai Run in China
using its resources and knowledge of the Chinese
children's marketplace.
Hanmi Marketing Group plans to
bring See Kai Run to the largest cities first, including
Shanghai and their home base city of Beijing, focusing on
high-end department stores. The company will then expand
to medium and smaller-sized cities, with the goal of
opening 200 retail outlets nationwide within two
years.

See Kai Run is a family-owned and
operated business located outside of Seattle, Washington.
The idea was born when owner Cause Haun was on a quest
for the perfect first pair of shoes for her son, Kai.
Unable to find shoes in fun styles that still promoted
the healthy development of little feet, Cause and her
husband created their own line of shoes that satisfied
all of these needs. In just 4 years, See Kai Run has seen
sales expand from a few boutiques, mostly in the Seattle
area, to stores all around the country and worldwide.
