Spreads Some Holiday Cheer

December marks the beginning of the holiday
season and Appaman
is kicking it off right with a sting of charitable
initiatives. The team at Appaman recognizes they have a
lot to be thankful for and are starting the holiday
season off right with a month of giving.
Fresh off the heels of Appaman's
participation in the annual gear drive for Baby Buggy, it
was announced today that Appaman launched their annual
Appaman Coat Drive.
Everyone deserves to be warm on
cold days so Appaman is encouraging you to donate gently
used coats. For every coat donated, Appaman will match
the coats collected with new kid's coats. All items will
be donated to New York Cares Coat Drive. If you are out
of state Appaman encourages you to do your own coat drive
and keep America warm one garment at a time. The annual
Appaman Coat Drive will run December 4-21, 2009.
Next week Harald Husum, cofounder,
will be traveling to China to visit several orphanage
delivering packages of cheerful and uplifting Appaman
one-pieces.
The LYFE program is something the
Appaman team holds close to their hearts. The NYC-based
program allows teen mothers to continue their schooling
while their newborns and toddlers attend a daycare in the
school. It is allowing these women a second chance to
receive their high school diplomas and improve their
situation in life. Appaman will be heading over to the
program on December 21st to donate boxes of toys and
diapers and we are sure the delivery will put a smile on
the faces of the moms and their wonderful children.
